Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease or line an 8x8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then whisk until fully combined.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish and bake for 28–32 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick inserted near the edge comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool for about 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
