Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
Optional Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into small bite-sized pieces so they cook fast and get those crispy edges.
- In a bowl, toss the chicken with cornstarch, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until everything is lightly coated.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and give them a little space so they crisp instead of steam.
- Air fry at 400°F until golden and cooked through, shaking halfway so nothing sticks.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Transfer the hot chicken to a bowl and toss it in the sauce until every piece is glossy and coated.
- Return the chicken to the air fryer briefly just to let the sauce tighten up and get slightly sticky.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
