Ingredients
- 1 small loaf bread (or dinner rolls connected)
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional Ingredients
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Slice the bread in a crosshatch pattern, cutting down but not all the way through.
- Mix the melted butter, garlic, and salt.
- Brush the garlic butter deep into the cuts of the bread.
- Stuff the shredded mozzarella into the cuts, spreading it evenly.
- Wrap loosely in foil and bake until the cheese is melted and the bread is warm, about 15 minutes.
- Open the foil and bake a few more minutes until the top is slightly crisp.
- Sprinkle with parsley and optional parmesan or chili flakes.
- Serve warm and pull apart.
