Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil

- 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
- 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon crushed pistachios
Instructions
- Line a small tray or plate with parchment paper.
- Place the banana slices evenly on the tray so they are not touching.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil, then heat in short bursts while stirring until fully melted and smooth.
- Dip each banana slice halfway into the melted chocolate and place it back on the tray.
- Sprinkle optional toppings like chopped peanuts, shredded coconut, or crushed pistachios on top before the chocolate sets.
- Transfer the tray to the freezer and chill until the chocolate is firm and the banana slices are frozen.
- Serve straight from the freezer for a cold chocolatey treat.
