Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 oz deli roast beef
  • 1 slice provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon butter

  • Arugula
  • Caramelized onions

Instructions

  1. Mix the horseradish and mayonnaise together in a small bowl.
  2. Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Heat a pan over medium-low heat and place the bread butter-side down. Layer the roast beef and provolone on one slice. Cover with the second slice of bread.
  4. Cook gently until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted, flipping once.
  5. Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm.
