Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough (8 triangles)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (about 4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled; drained if pickled)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup bacon bits
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick spray.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Press each triangle into a muffin cup, pushing the dough down into the bottom and slightly up the sides to form a “cup”.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Fold in the bacon bits (optional).
  7. Spoon the mixture evenly into each dough cup.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough edges are golden brown and the filling looks bubbly.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
  10. Top with green onion if desired and serve warm.
