Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough (8 triangles)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (about 4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled; drained if pickled)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional Ingredients
- 1/3 cup bacon bits
- 2 tbsp chopped green onion
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick spray.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Press each triangle into a muffin cup, pushing the dough down into the bottom and slightly up the sides to form a “cup”.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold in the bacon bits (optional).
- Spoon the mixture evenly into each dough cup.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough edges are golden brown and the filling looks bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
- Top with green onion if desired and serve warm.
