Sticky Honey-Garlic Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in chicken thighs
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Season thighs generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear skin-side down in oven-safe skillet until deep golden, flip, then bake 20–25 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile whisk sauce ingredients together (add cornstarch slurry last).
  5. Remove thighs from pan. Pour out extra grease, return pan to stove.
  6. Simmer sauce 2–3 minutes until glossy and thick.
  7. Add chicken back in and spoon sauce heavily over the top.
