Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
- 2 large eggs
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

- Honey or maple butter (for serving)
Instructions
- Warm the milk and whisk in matcha until fully dissolved.
- Add flour, sugar, yeast, and salt to a bowl.
- Add eggs and the matcha milk. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Knead in the softened butter until smooth and elastic (8–10 minutes).
- Cover and let rise 1–1.5 hours.
- Punch down, divide into 12 rolls.
- Place in a greased baking dish and rise another 45 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–22 minutes until lightly golden on top.
- Brush with honey butter while warm.
