Cravin’ is a recipe sharing community built around sharing what you made. Post recipes, cheer on community favorites, discover local Spots, and join competitions.

Upload original work: your own photo is required, and the recipe should be yours or your own write-up or variation of a common dish.

Post full recipes with instructions and ingredients, or start with a photo and title, then fill in details later.

Spots

Spots are local restaurants, cafes, food trucks, and other places to find food. Explore what the community is discovering nearby, build menu Stacks, and share places worth trying.

Discover local food: browse Spots by location and find places people are talking about.
Useful details: find locations, hours, photos, menus, and other practical information.
Stacks: create and vote on custom menu combinations from a Spot's page.
Share a place: add a Spot so others can find it too.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards: celebrate active creators and recipes earning community love.
Recipes shared: active creators can rise as they post more dishes.
Community love: votes help highlight recipes people are enjoying.
Recognition: leaderboards are for visibility and community bragging rights, not cash prizes.

Competitions

Join themed, skill-based competitions for a chance to win prizes. Winners are selected using a published judging rubric along with verified community input. Chance is not involved.

Entry fees: some events have a small fee that is shown up front.
Prize models: fixed or pool-based with a defined portion of entry fees. Disclosed before you enter.
Refunds: if a competition is canceled, or you withdraw before it starts, your entry fee is refunded per event rules.
Payments: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

Site-wide posts that are not competitions

Sweet means like. Sour means dislike.
Your visible score is the simple ratio of Sweet versus Sour. There are no hidden formulas.
Anti-spam: we monitor suspicious activity and take action to keep it fair.

Competition Voting

Favorite votes: voters simply pick their favorite dish. This is different from Sweet and Sour.
Judging rubric: events also use criteria such as Originality, Presentation, Technique, and Clarity.
Verification: we verify voting patterns to reduce spam and maintain fairness.

Safety first

Recipes are inspiration. Handle food safely, watch for allergens, and cook to your tastes.
